Day 15

Before and After

My time: 37:57

I got a text message today from someone that I wanted to share because it's a good reminder. (I think it was a group thing, but I'm not sure.)

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million who will not survive through this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pains of starvation you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you have food in the fridge, clothes on your back, a roof overhead, and a bed to sleep in then you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have any money in the bank or even just some spare change in a dish then you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you can hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful then you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can help someone, talk to them, hold someone's hand, touch them on the shoulder, or even just send a smile their way, then you are blessed because you am offer support to another soul when so many others cannot. Never take what you have for granted"

She's absolutely right. I hope none of us take what we have for granted. And will you help make someone's life easier by donating today? That would put a smile on these people's faces.

I am happy to say that we have raised $275 as of May 28! There was a little glitch where it wasn't showing when people put my project in the comments, but they found everything and fixed it! Thank you all.
